At St John Fisher we are fully committed to ensuring that all pupils feel safe and secure at school; that they all understand that bullying will not be accepted or tolerated in any way. We are members of the 'Anti-Bullying Alliance' and as a school, we are taking part in the 'United Against Bullying' (UAB) programme. We promote 'kind hands, gentle voices and love in our hearts'.
The theme for anti-bullying week this year was 'One Kind Word'. We have encouraged this and actively promoted it across the whole school. Ms Kenna carried out a whole school assembly to discuss the theme of 'One Kind Word' and how we could carry this out at St John Fisher Primary School.
The pupils all tried to follow the theme of 'One Kind Word' and they wanted to share their thoughts, in their own words...
We are very proud of the pupils here at St John Fisher. St Teresa's class also performed a class collective worship on anti-bullying and they talked about not being a bystander and how to help stop bullying or prevent it.
The pupils felt inspired to share 'One Kind Word', perhaps you will too...
