United Against Bullying

Bronze Award Winners!

St John Fisher are delighted to announce we have been awarded the Bronze School Award from the Anti-Bullying Alliance. This is an award that supports schools to reduce bullying and improve the well being of all children, focusing on those most at risk, including children and young people with SEND, children and young people who experience racist and faith-targeted bullying, sexual bullying, homophobic, biphobic and transphobic bullying, looked-after children, young carers and those on free school meals.

At St John Fisher bullying is not tolerated or accepted.

It is vital that all pupils feel safe and secure at school.

Here are some of the tools that we use to help prevent bullying at out school:

Anti-Bullying Ambassadors
Child friendly Anti-Bullying Policy
Anti-Bullying Policy
Anti-Bullying Week (although we focus on anti-bullying all year round)
School Phrase:

"Stop it! I don't like it!
If you do that again, I will tell somebody."

All pupils are encouraged to talk to someone if they are worried or upset about something. That might be a trusted adult or a trusted friend. Our staff are here to help.
